Experienced General Counsel and Legal Project Manager, with a depth and breadth of experience in the legal services industry gained across roles in international law firms and in-house. Strong legal professional skills, developed over the past 25+ years since graduating from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours in Law. Specialising in energy, mining, and building and construction, both front end and back end. Experienced in Court work in all jurisdictions including the High Court of Australia, in both instructing counsel and as appearing as advocate, as well as in commercial arbitrations and mediations.

I am also a skilled Project and Program Manager, building on many years of experience by completing a Masters in Project and Program Management at the University of Sydney. I am undertaking a PhD, researching "When Time Isn't Money: Using Legal Risk Management and Project Management techniques to manage and prevent mega disputes in mega projects". My research will examine the fact that mega projects are becoming uneconomic for contractors given the rising prevalence of mega disputes, identify the principal cause of that eventuality, and consider the means of prevention of the disputes and the concomitant losses.
